Ansiedad, Depresión, Estrés, UniversitariosIn recent years, the prevalence of psychological disorders in university studentsassociated with anxiety and depression has been reported, which are not addressed in atimely manner, among other reasons due to the scarcity of instruments for this age group.The present research was of instrumental methodological design and aimed to analyze theevidence of validity and reliability of the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS-21) in university students in Metropolitan Lima, 2021; validated in Peru by Calixto andChavez (2020). Thus, 301 university students between the ages of 18 and 30 years (MA=24, SD=) participated. Likewise, the sampling was non-probabilistic by convenience.Content validity was obtained by means of Aiken's V coefficient, with scores higher than93%. In the confirmatory analysis, the instrument established by the original authors wasconsidered, maintaining the three-factor structure, obtaining a CFI=, RMSEA=,X2/gl=1, SRMR= .026 and TLI= .871, being acceptable. On the other hand, thereliability coefficient was calculated, with a Cronbach's α of .80 for the 21 items, also ascore of .80 considering McDonald's ω; concluding that the scales, were adequate andreliable for use.Keywords: depression, anxiety, stress, and university students.El COVID-19 se inició a finales del año 2019 en Wuhan China y a las pocassemanas se expandió a todos los países del mundo, trayendo consigo diversos problemas.Algunos de estos, son los económicos, sociales, físicos, psicológicos y familiares, loscuales han generado un efecto negativo en la vida y salud integral.
